Character Information
Name: James "Logan" Howlett
Codename: Wolverine
Age/DOB: Unknown
Affiliations: X-men, Alpha Flight, Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent
Occupation: Badass.

Physical Traits:

- Height: 5'3"
- Weight: 195lbs, (300lbs with Adamantium skeleton)
- Hair Colour: Black
- Eye Colour: Blue

Powers: The Wolverine is a mutant gifted with the ability for cellular regeneration--an accelerated healing factor. As a result, he is capable of repairing cellular damage at a rate far greater than that of an ordinary human. This healing factor also affords Wolverine enhanced resistance to diseases and immunity to most drugs and poisons; it's next to impossible for him to get intoxicated off of alcohol. These regenerative properties are also applicable to the degeneration of cellular tissue due to time, and thus, though over 100 years old, Wolverine appears to be a man in the prime of his life.

Wolverine also possesses extremely keen senses, and often ususes them to track people at an extraordinarily high success rate. Combined with the adamantium-laced skeleton he possesses, Wolverine's set of six retractable adamantium claws are perhaps his most notable feature. The indestructible nature of the metal that was surgically grafted to his bones as well as the regenerative nature of his mutation makes Wolverine nearly unkillable.

Logan is no mere animal, however, and his assets go far beyond his physical traits. With decades of military, martial arts, and black operations training, Logan is a calculating and deadly adversary. He is an expert in covert operations and lends his skills to several military and paramilitary groups aside from the X-Men.

Personality: Logan is the best at what he does, and what he does best is...well, kick ass, basically. He's a man of few words, preferring action to conversation. His vast life experiences make him a wise, though abrasive, mentor for those willing to suffer his tutelage. Many students of the Xavier Institute have trained with him in hopes to improve their skill and gain better control of this powers. Most people he encounters know well enough to both fear and respect Logan to a certain degree.

Backgrounder/History: A complex man, not much is widely known about the man named Logan's past. Born in Alberta, Canada in the late 19th century, Logan has memories of bring a samurai in Japan, a CIA operative, and a "wild man" in the Canadian wilderness though due to extensive memory implants and reprogramming, all of these are suspect. He has been a member of both the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants as a hired assasin, and an X-Man as a convert to Charles Xavier's school of thought. He has also been an active member of Alpha Flight, Canada's premiere Meta Human Defense Operative and the Avenger's Meta Human Task Force.

Logan is friends with Superhero legends such as Captain America, General Nick Fury, and the Fantastic Four. He has previously been involved with Jean Grey and Yuriko Oyama (alias: Deathstrike.)

If Applicable...

XMH Summary: After the supposed death of Charles Xavier, Logan continued on at the Xavier Institute, helping with the direction of the school and instruction of it's students. He was an active member of the X-Men, and a known presence at the school. After a time, he became romantically involved with Emma Frost and somewhat of a mentor to many students including Alison Blaire and Rogue.

Five Year Summary: As activity among the Friends of Humanity anti-mutant group increased, so did Logan's unannounced absences. Disappearing for sometimes weeks at a time, dividing his time equally between covertly infiltrating the Friends of Humanity and aiding his Canadian teammates on Alpha Flight. His relationship with Emma Frost, already uneasy, fell apart due to Logan's increasingly frequent absences from the school. When the school burned down, Logan saw no need to stay in New York and headed northward to an Albertan Alpha Flight Base where he monitored FoH activity via satellite feeds from the Candian government and S.H.I.E.L.D.

Returning after a particularly long absence, Logan was coerced back to New York by friend and S.H.I.E.L.D. commander Nick Fury and resumed an active role as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent and Avenger. With the Return of Charles Xavier and the X-Men base in westchest, it's only a matter of time before the Wolverine is a member of the X-Men once more.
